CONTEXT
An essential part of the coking gas filtration process, the tar precipitator reduces the amount of tar in the gas.
This equipment helps to make the gases suitable for use as fuel in the rest of ArcelorMittal’s units.
Their modernisation is part of an environmental improvement strategy set out by ArcelorMittal, for which ADF has assisted the customer in the modernisation of three of the units at the Fos sur Mer and Dunkirk sites.
SOLUTIONS
Groupe ADF provided a turnkey project to ArcelorMittal with the manufacture in its La Feuillane workshops and installation of three tar precipitator units.
