Through its Study and Expert report department, ADF develops its know-how on four skill centres, the calculation and associated expert reports, studies on general installations and mechanical engineering, project management assistance and technical document management.

Our solutions

Our Study and Expert report department checks the technical feasibility of your requirement through pre-project studies and offers you one or more solutions depending on the objectives to be reached and is involved at all levels of the engineering missions, whilst respecting your requirements in terms of costs, lead time and performance.

To define the optimal technical solutions, Cadsud uses experienced, rained and competent teams on the fields of :

 
  • The calculation and analysis of structures statically, dynamically, thermally and for fatigue using the finite elements method (pressurised devices, pipe work, metal structures, storage silos, mechanisms...),
  • Modelling and CAD – 2D and 3D
  • Project management
  • Technical documentation management (GDT).
  

 

Our experience is based on computer tools tested in industry such as :
  • Calculation: COSMOS/M – COSMOSDesignSTAR - CEASAR II – ROBOT Millenium - VVD - SICAP
  • Modelling: SOLIDWORKS - FEMAP...
  • CAD: AUTOCAD – MicroStation – PIPING-CAD – STRUCAD - GTX RasterCAD
  • Planning: MS PROJECT - PRIMAVERA
Our library of standards and construction codes allows us to cover all industrial applications (RCC-M – CODAP – CODETI – CODRES – EUROCODES - ASME - EN 13 445 -  EN 140 15, EN 13 480, CM66, NV65, PS92, FEM, UCB, B31.3, NF and EN standards...) with experience tested in fields such as petro-chemical, chemical, nuclear, siderurgical, Agro-food, cement, etc.

Our department is qualified by EDF for the design of pressurised equipment for the nuclear industry.

In the energy field: calculation and design of pressurised equipment to the RCC-M / EN 13 445 / EN 14 015 codes.

In the siderurgical field: as part of the renovation of a blast furnace, calculation to bring it into conformity with the seismic standards of its structure.

In the cement and siderurgical fields: Renovation in 2007 of the blast furnace on the Fos sur Mer site, calculation and verification of the mechanical resistance of the entire blast furnace, rise and fall of gases, gas evacuation system (lots: sheet metal devices, pipe work and joinery).
