Maintenance of siderurgical / metallurgical units PDF Print E-mail

ADF is present throughout the siderurgical and metallurgical process. We thus help on a daily basis to improve the performances of the installations continuously in our work on the units running.

Your expectations

Continuous process production requires the costs of non-production to be optimised, which is why you expect that a maintenance service provider:

  • Guarantees and improves the availability of the production equipment
  • Improves the reliability of the equipment
  • Provides a complementary and evolving service
  • Sharing of HSEQ objectives

Our solutions

        Strong, close links with customers
ADF has over 25 year's experience and strong links with customers to satisfy their needs by the implementation and handling of contracts over several years. Our organisation is dedicated to all of the siderurgical sites, with for each maintenance centre:

  • The maintenance sectors are a reflection of our customer organisations (controlled availability of the operating technology and tool, control of knowledge),
  • The versatile site unit (control of resources),
  • Technical support departments: Workshops, Work Study and Projects Technical Cell (control of expertise and construction technologies).

This organisation takes into account the cultures of each site and Is based on the principles of the ISO 9001 quality assurance and ISO 14001 Environmental standards.

Each contract incorporates indicators for measuring the effectiveness and transparent feedback processes, such as the time that the machines are available, the percentage achievement of the servicing plan or even machine breakdown time.  We implement an action to optimise performance by the continuous improvement to the way we operate and also by sharing good practices between sites. Breakdown studies by means of downgraded analysis are also carried out regularly and the maintenance plans and modes are constantly adjusted to suit the changes to the processes.

        An adapted industrial tool
Our industrial tool is adapted to satisfy the expectations of major industrial companies. The Siderurgical / Metallurgical department has 3 logistics bases:

  • The Feuillane centre at Fos sur Mer (13) which covers the siderurgical platform of Fos
  • The Fort Mardyck centre (59) dedicated to the siderurgical platform of Grande Synthe
  • The AD centre at Dunkirk (59) dedicated to the fabrication of aluminium at Gravelines
With workshops that are capable of satisfying all of our customer requirements:
  • Mechanical engineering workshop : repairs to mechanical assemblies to meet the requirements of global contracts, to expert reports, damage analyses, technical support and back-up of the sectors.
    • Our technical means: sand blaster and micro-blaster. 50 T and 150 T presses. 10 T cranes. Geared reducer test rig. Dry furnace.
