Maintenance of heat energy production units PDF Print E-mail

ADF handles the maintenance of electricity production sites such as DK6 or Cycofos (combined cycle power station) which allow natural gas or siderurgical gases to be transformed into electricity.

Your expectations

The power station has an objective of reliability and must provide long periods of service without breakdown and without stoppage for maintenance. It must also be capable of reacting immediately to the demands of the energy market whilst optimising its financial results.

Our solutions

ADF satisfies the expectations of its customers by:

  • Controlling the global maintenance
  • Tried and tested experience of contract management
  • Controlling the technologies installed: pumps, steam turbines, gas turbines and boilers
  • Controlling costs

ADF carries out the general maintenance for the DK6 power station in Dunkirk. This power station has 2 identical sections of 400 MWe. Each section is formed by a gas turbine powered by natural gas and a boiler powered by siderurgical gases with natural gas back-up.

After 2 years of production, ADF and DK6 entered into a partnership through a global maintenance contract with guaranteed results. The ADF team provides all of the skills necessary for the maintenance of the site, from facility management to industrial computing, as well as mechanical engineering, metallurgy, automated systems and command control.

ADF also intervenes in the maintenance engineering of this type of power station. During the construction phase, Gaz de France entrusted us with the drafting of the maintenance plan. From manufacturers' plans and manuals, our Maintenance Technology department drew up a methodology for work study and analysis, then drafted the entire maintenance plan for the power station, then transferring it to the customer's CAMS when the installation was industrially commissioned.
